Do you need employers liability insurance?
It is a legal requirement to have employers liability insurance if you employ staff. Minimum cover must be £5 million and underwritten by an FCA approved insurer. Fines of £2,500 per day may apply if the required cover is not in place for your business.
What is product liability insurance?
Product liability insurance covers your business against injury claims or property damage caused by products you have made or sold. Even if you didn’t make the product but sold it, if it causes harm then you may be liable for any costs.
Do you need product liability insurance?
Product liability insurance is not required by law but it is recommended if you sell or make products for consumers. Protect your business against the financial strain of a substantial claim if the unforeseen does happen.
What is personal liability insurance?
Personal liability insurance covers you financially against third party injury and property damage claims deemed to be your fault. The commercial equivalent of this cover is public liability insurance which protects your business.
